Free local browser storage
RivetQuote Free stores business profiles, defaults, drafts, logos, and saved estimates or invoices in your browser local storage. Free records are not sent to the Pro database. Clearing browser data can remove them.
Pro accounts and cloud data
If you create an account and receive an active Pro entitlement, Supabase processes authentication data and stores your company settings, customers, documents, and subscription status. Row Level Security limits application access to members of the same company workspace.
Local import
RivetQuote detects local records after Pro login but does not upload them automatically. They are copied to the cloud only when you select the explicit import action.
Logos and files
Free logos remain compressed in browser storage. Pro logos are optimized before upload and stored in a private tenant-scoped Supabase Storage folder.
Removal, retention, and backups
You can delete saved documents and customers in the application. The service operator must define production account deletion, retention, backup, and recovery procedures. Export important records as PDFs and maintain independent business copies.
Payments
Paid checkout is not connected. If a hosted payment provider is later enabled, it will process payment information under its own privacy terms; RivetQuote should not collect raw card details.
Security
No storage method is risk-free. Protect your device and account, use a trusted browser, and report suspected unauthorized access. This product copy requires legal review before commercial launch.
